Herald of Spring

There are flowers that herald the coming of Spring. One of the first to bloom and a favourite of mine is the Crocus. It is such a delight to see these brave little flowers raise their heads up from the grass. I feel that their colouful presence marks the changing of the seasons, helping to chase the winter cold away and draw us into Spring.
