Circles.

I am fascinated by circles. There is something comforting about them. You can trust circles, they have no beginning and no end, no corners or jagged edges. Circles are so aesthetically pleasing, tracing the soft lines that create a continuous symbol is a powerful image indeed.
Somewhere deep in the psyche it evokes a strong sense of being enveloped in comfort…of belonging to something or someone. When I think of being hugged I imagine someones arms encircling me, keeping me safe.
There is something safely reassuring about a circle. Imagine yourself for a moment in a circle of people, holding hands, standing together-bonded by a common purpose-feeling the energy and the strength of the people on either side of you. It conjours up the feeling of belonging.
Truth; we all need to belong. This is one of our primary needs as human beings. Just as we hunger for nourishment and affection, so our need to belong is an integral part of who we are. It provides the inner confidence that will invoke that feeling of being forever "home", laying the foundations we all need for security and stability as we make our way through life watching for the circles as we go......
